Frequently Asked Questions
-Why are the posting rules very strict?
XSI Base is a discussion platform for professional users. We want that everybody can learn a lot while sharing knowledge. If postings become discrespectful or stupid this is no longer the case.
-How can I add images to my posts?
Above the textarea you have those little icons which will create tags for you. Click on the following icon: It will create that tag: . Now you can put
your image link in bewtween. XSI Base does not allow to upload images to the server.
-Why are posts frequently moved to another discussion?
Because the forums has dedicated discussions. When your post is moved, you probably posted in a discussion that is not dedicated to your topic.
-Why crack discussions are not allowed on the forum?-
Because this forum is professional, and crack discussions are far from professional. An important thing for us is credibility. How can a forum look professional if there are crack discussions?
-What are the moderators doing?
Moving posts in the right discussions, editing or deleting some of them, making sure that the rules are observed, banning troublesome members, organizing activities such as contests and polls, discussing a lot in private sections to see what can be improved on the forum, making contact with people to promote XSI Base, and the list goes on.
-Why aren't there any resource section on the forum?
Because the resource section is under construction. We want it to be really good, top quality and full of resources, plus being functional and accessible through XSI's Net View. So it requires a lot of programming, design, and testing. But don't worry, it's coming.
