    Job DescriptionArtifex Animation Studios is looking for an intermediate-level 3D simulation artist for a VFX-heavy film project. This is a contract position, beginning in mid-September 2010 and ending January 2011 (four months). Compensation to be discussed based on experience.

    RequirementsFor the candidate to be considered, he or she must fill the following requirements:
- Must be proficient with animation and simulation tools within Softimage XSI;
- In-depth knowledge of the ICE module in Softimage XSI is a huge plus;
- Must have at least three (3) years of experience as 3D simulation artist in a production environment;
- Must live in Montreal, or be willing to relocate on their own and be authorized to work in Canada;
- Must be able to work to tight deadlines and manage stress;
- Ability to design and write custom scripts is a big plus;
- Bilingual (French and English) is a big plus.
